Can we import our existing question papers?

Yes. Download the ready-made Excel template, fill in one question per row, and import the Excel or CSV file into any course module. Questions can also be added and edited one at a time in the question bank.

Which question types are supported?

Multiple-choice questions, which are graded automatically, and written questions, answered either as text or in a code editor for programming courses. Written and code answers are graded by trainers against the model answer you provide.

How does the proctoring work, and can students cheat by switching tabs?

The test runs in fullscreen, and every fullscreen exit or tab or app switch is recorded against the attempt, with a warning shown to the student. You can set a violation limit that auto-submits the test, or just log violations for review. The timer runs on the server, and questions can be shuffled per student.

Can students take the test on a mobile phone?

Tests run in any modern browser with nothing to install. Some phones can't enter fullscreen, so for batches that mostly use phones we recommend leaving the violation limit off — violations are still logged — rather than auto-submitting.

When do students see their score and the correct answers?

An all-MCQ attempt is scored as soon as it's submitted. If a test has written answers, the score is held until a trainer has graded every one, so students never see a partial mark. Correct answers and explanations can be revealed once the test closes for everyone, if you turn that on.

What are the limits on questions, duration, and attempts?

A test can have up to 200 questions, run for up to 10 hours, and allow up to 10 attempts per student. Every attempt is kept, and students can see their full attempt history.
